In my free time (and especially in the summer), I try and get out and about as much as possible with my kids.
We love train journeys and have been lucky enough to get to London a few times in the last year and wenngo off in the car most weekends.
We also regularly visit the seaside and I have included some Guide-Books on seaside walks for anyone who is interested in the great outdoors.
I have always loved the seaside, it reminds me of holidays as a child so I try to visit every chance I get.
On theses pages, I have added a good selection of Travel-Guides, which I have now split up into 3 pages:
The UK page has books from all the major Cities and also includes guide bookd from popular attractions such as Tower of London and a few Welsh Castles.
The European page, as you would expect contains guidebooks from all the major european cites such as Paris, Barcelona and Madrid.
The Rest of the world page has guides from many of the USA's most popular resorts such as Orlando as well as city guides for New York and San Francisco.
There are also guides for the far east and include Japan and Malaysia.
All 3 pages include links to the most popular guides and includes lonely-planet and rough-guide as well as DK-Eyewitness-Guides.
I have now added a page for Travel Accessories for your journey.
I am updating these pages every week or so, so please visit regularly and check the Last Updated Date on the top of each page, so you know that there will be new addition to the site.
Oh and don't for get to make sure you have a valid European Health Insurance Card, this is totally free and can be applied for at the following NHS site.
This card gives you the right to access state-provided healthcare during a temporary stay in another European Economic Area (EEA) country or Switzerland.
